Maddox Family Birthday Celebration

Over the weekend I made my way to photograph a birthday party hosted by the Maddox family. Family and friends came together to celebrate Quinn’s 1st birthday, Janea’s 11th birthday and Hunter’s 13th birthday at the Waterford Park Beach. The theme was “rock in roll,” which was expressed by microphone cake pops, musical note decorations, guitar wrapping paper and guitar goodie bags. Guests of the party munched on delicious barbecue while the kids laughed & played on the playground. Of course there was gift opening and cake smashing… by the young and the old. The end of the party was made especially special with the release of wish lanterns. After the everyone got the hang of the technic the sky was dotted with white lanterns fueled by flame and attached with high hopes and wishes.

Mini Sessions

Looks its fall! All the kids are going back to school, the weather is a bit cooler and the leaves are already starting to change color. I can’t think of a better way to kick of the new season with a mini photo session!
